Two days ago, I had a dream that I took a large gator out in public on a leash - then he took off running and I couldn't hold onto him. I sprinted behind him until he slipped into a popular harbor where people were swimming and boating. In the dream I felt bewildered about how to own my actions, take accountability, inform the right people. That morning, F happened to get up early and when we found her, she was reading the Roald Dahl book "The Enormous Crocodile."
I've always been extra wary of crocs and gators, except for when I was 2. Isn't that so southern to have a creepy faux gator with fangs underneath a sign for a children's museum? And check those boat shoes. I also have a haircut like Heman, which I'm still mad at my mom about.
