I just read your piece on The Rumpus about being an awkward 11-year old who loves Reagan (you didn't look that bad, actually-I had far worse hair around the same time...). My husband is a writer, too, and also hates pictures of himself, despite being very photogenic. So I vote you use this picture here, of you laughing and falling down as your next author photo. It's the prettiest by far. :)
