The Homeland

Hi guys -

I'm travelling in the homeland this week!  We flew to North Carolina with the girls on Friday.  I'm reading at FlyLeaf Books in Chapel Hill tonight, then Quail Ridge in Raleigh tomorrow.  I'm jazzed!  The sun is warm and the people are friendly.

Here's my favorite photo so far - me in my friend's kitchen with their guinea pig!  Love.  (You know what I also love?  That super-cool, original Craftsman kitchen booth behind me.  Swoon!)

What an odd feeling to poke around somebody's blog and see their daughter's Guinea pig!

Oh dear, Ted. Do you think Fluffy feels violated/is concerned about his privacy? I can take it down. Will there be legal action?

It is always a little strange seeing something I occasionally give a carrot on the internet. The same for my right side also in the photo. And did you get the card we made for you?

Atticus! I should have asked your right side and Fluffy if I could post the picture. I got the card and I LOVE IT. It's on our bulletin board.
